Ingredients:
- 750 ml red wine such as our Escomo Cab Blend or IOLE Sangria
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup lemon-lime soda
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 2 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 lime, sliced
- 1 cup mixed berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
Instructions:
- In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, orange juice, lemon-lime soda, and brandy. Stir well to mix the ingredients.
- Add the sugar to the pitcher and stir until it is completely dissolved. Adjust the sweetness to your preference by adding more or less sugar.
- Toss in the sliced orange, lemon, lime, and mixed berries into the pitcher. These fruits will infuse the sangria with their natural flavors and add a delightful touch of freshness.
- Gently muddle the fruit slices with a spoon to release their juices and enhance the flavor of the sangria. This step is optional but recommended for a more vibrant taste.
- Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and let the sangria chill for at least 2 hours, allowing the flavors to meld together. For an even more intense flavor, you can refrigerate it overnight.
- When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled sangria over the ice.
- Garnish each glass with a sprig of fresh mint leaves for an aromatic touch.
- Stir gently before sipping to distribute the fruit and flavors throughout the glass.
- Enjoy your homemade sangria wine mixer with friends and loved ones. Feel free to experiment with variations by adding your favorite fruits.
Note: You can also make a refreshing white wine sangria by substituting the red wine with our Escomo Chardonnay white wine. The rest of the ingredients and instructions remain the same.
Sangria is a versatile drink that’s perfect for gatherings and warm-weather occasions. Cheers to creating memorable moments with this delightful homemade sangria wine mixer!
